Atingi is a free online learning platform implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. With a vision to empower the youth through cutting-edge e-learning opportunities, Atingi has emerged as a catalyst for positive change across Africa, Latin America, and East Asian regions. The platform is dedicated to bridging skills gaps and nurturing vocational expertise, thereby propelling economic growth and entrepreneurial ventures within local communities.
Atingi aims to reach young people across the globe and help them realize their career potential using the platform’s courses and certifications. This means creating positive change and making a meaningful impact by providing inclusive, easy-to-access, and relevant online learning opportunities.
Web Ink forged a strategic partnership with a dynamic Public Relations and communications agency to create strategic communications that would drive platform awareness and boost registrations on the atingi e-learning platform across diverse nations. Our collective mission was to create an impactful strategy capable of resonating across diverse cultures and regions, leveraging the potential of digital and social media organic and marketing to speak to agricultural, technology and vocational skills across all the targeted regions.
atingi.org communications are ongoing until 2025 Q4. Within this time frame, the following outcomes have been achieved:
- Significant User Growth: Our collaboration extended to the creation of a new website, enriching the user experience and elevating the platform’s accessibility. We also created various strategically crafted campaign landing pages which have attracted an impressive user base of over 500,000 users.
- Unmatched Reach: Our communication efforts, driven by the revamped website and landing pages, have secured a remarkable ad reach of over 1.5 million users. This substantial visibility reflects the effectiveness of the devised strategies in capturing audience attention.
- Cost-Efficiency: Through our efforts we achieved a very low Cost Per Click (CPC) of less than 0.35 cents in South African rands. This means we’re getting great results without spending much money, highlighting how well our strategy is working to get the targeted audience engaged.
Moreover, our efforts did not only focus on numbers. We adopted a broader perspective that valued working closely with partners, understanding the specific needs of the local communities, and making an impact in the ever-changing education landscape.
